Consultation Fee

Please note Samantha does not provide bulk billing services however you can receive rebates for your sessions from Medicare and Private Health (see below).

Medicare Rebates

Samantha is a registered clinical psychologist with Medicare which provides a rebate for clinical psychologists providing a 50 minute psychology session with a Mental Health Care Plan.

To claim this rebate you will require a referral letter from a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician and a Mental Health Care Plan for treatment of a mental health disorder.

With a Mental Health Care Plan you are eligible for up to 10 session rebates per calendar year.

Private Health Insurance

Rebates are available from your private health fund for psychological services. Check with your fund to see what rebate you will receive for clinical psychology / psychology sessions.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Samantha is a registered clinical psychologist for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Psychological services provided through NDIS are arranged through your NDIS provider or organisation and do not require payment of a fee by the client.

Victims Services Counselling

Samantha is an approved counsellor with Victims Services, a free counselling services offered by NSW Department of Justice for people who have experienced a crime. For more information click here.

Medicare Rebate

Cancellation Policy

Please give 48 hours notice before cancelling an appointment.

In step with guidelines provided by the Australian Psychological Society, at least 48 hours notice of non-attendance is required. This is essential so that clients on a waiting list can be offered an appointment.

A cancellation fee of 50% of the full fee will be charged where less than 48 hours notice of non-attendance is provided.
A cancellation fee of 100% of the full fee will be charged where less than 24 hours notice of non-attendance is provided. Rebates are not available for cancellation fees.
