Samantha James

Samantha works with complex mental health and trauma with both adolescents and adults. Alongside a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Samantha has over 15 years experience in the field and specialist training in EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and expressive therapies such as Sandtray and Symbol therapy.

A warm and approachable practitioner, Samantha provides effective strategies for mental health concerns, trauma recovery, substance misuse, relationship challenges, workplace issues, adolescent and child & family dynamics.

Samantha is a clinical supervisor approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and she provides supervision to individuals and organisations.

Molly Magahy

Registered Psychologist

Molly is a compassionate and calming Psychologist who works with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues. She has experience working with PTSD Complex/Relational Trauma; Alcohol and Other Drugs; Relationships and Parenting; Anxiety; Depression; and Autism and ADHD.  

 

Molly works within a Neurodiversity Affirming framework using a number of evidenced based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Internal Family Systems (IFS); EMDR; and Mindfulness and Compassion-based therapies. Molly also offers adult Autism and ADHD assessments.  

 

Molly holds a Master of Professional Psychology, and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and actively engages in ongoing professional development in a number of areas of clinical practice. Molly is a Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor for Psychologists on the professional pathway to registration.

Catherine Fleming

Registered Psychologist

Catherine has 15 years experience working as a child and family specialist. She adopts a youth friendly approach in engaging young persons and offers strengths-based intervention to both children and families.

 

Catherine has experience working with anxiety, ADHD, youth mental health, parenting and perinatal mental health and wellbeing. 

 

Alongside a holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology, Catherine has certification as a Child and Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional, and extensive experience more broadly working in youth mental health organisations.

Catherine can offer family therapy sessions where appropriate. She is trained in the facilitation of equine therapy.

Nathan de Heer

Nathan emphasises openness, warmth and flexibility in his approach, which centres on forming genuine connections with the people that he works with. This allows clients a platform to gain clarity, and take steps towards the parts of life which bring more meaning, fulfilment and wellbeing.

 

Nathan has over seven years of experience in providing evidence based psychological services in private practice, hospitals and university settings.  He utilizes a range of psychological therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. Nathan has a strong awareness of, and interest in, the intersection and interconnection of physical and mental health.

 

Nathan holds a Masters in Health Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy and Anthropology. Prior to commencing work as a psychologist, Nathaniel worked for a number of years in community-based mental health support.

Forrest James

Forrest is a psychotherapist, supervisor, educator and organisational consultant. He has over twenty years experience as a helping professional in the fields of trauma, relationship and family issues, men’s issues, alcohol and drug dependence, supervision, and management consulting.

 

Forrest has completed extensive studies in Mental Health, Gestalt Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and various body focused approaches to working with trauma presentations. 

Forrest provides supervision for individuals and organisations as well as bespoke trainings for Corporate and Community Organisations. Forrest draws on over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in the business, public and community sectors. He has coached and consulted to senior managers and teams in over 50 organisations.

Dr Dang Nyugen

Dr Dang Nguyen is person centred holistic psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, perinatal, couples and families. Dr. Dang is an Australian trained psychiatrist and achieved her medical degree at the University of NSW and has 18 years’ experience working in Psychiatry and Mental Health.

 

As a Psychiatrist she can diagnose and treat Mood & Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, Schizophrenia, Psychotic disorders, Personality Disorders as well as other mental health disorders. 

 

Dang works collaboratively providing Pharmacotherapy, Supportive Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. She has special interests in Mood disorders, Anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), Psychotic disorders and Personality disorders.

Tamika Dawson

Mental Health Social Worker

Tamika has a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Master of Social Work. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

The combination of Psychology and Social Work offers a diverse skill set and provides a holistic approach to understanding and addressing the complexities of human behaviour, mental health, and social well-being.

Area of specialties include: depression and suicidal ideation, trauma and borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, perfectionism and burnout in high achievers.

Tamika uses a variety of evidence-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
